WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- Many 9-1-1 lines around South Central Kentucky are currently down due to the early Friday morning explosion in Nashville near an AT&T switch building.
The Bowling Green Police Department is reporting a widespread problem for their 9-1-1 line.

PIERRE, S.D. (KEVN) – 911 dispatchers are considered the “first first responders.” You might also consider them the central nervous system of emergency workers, the response inside, before the response outside.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A 911 dispatch supervisor in Columbus has been working every Christmas for almost three decades.
Frances McDaniel has no kids and has dedicated her life to being a 911 dispatcher for the Columbus Police Department.

MACON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Macon County Public Health reported Wednesday, Dec. 23, it has identified a COVID-19 cluster of positive cases in Macon County’s 9-1-1 Communication Center.
Five staff members at Macon County’s 9-1-1 Communication Center have tested positive for the coronavirus. All other communication center personnel are aware of their exposure and are currently being contacted for testing… READ MORE

NEW ORLEANS —The City of New Orleans Department of Economic Development, in partnership with the Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD), today announced the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) deadline of Jan. 6, 2021 for businesses and organizations to bring their telephone systems into federal compliance in accordance with Kari’s Law and the Ray BAUM’s Act.
