HILADELPHIA (TBEN) – Philadelphia 911 dispatchers say they are not adequately protected against COVID-19 while on the job. They voiced their concerns to city officials on Thursday evening.
“We are the first line of defense,” said Michelle Aikens-Lynn. “The first person they call is 911 and it goes through the Philadelphia Police Department.”
