NEW ULM — Brown County commissioners will consider an agreement between Allina Health Emergency Medical Service and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office for Telephonic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Program (T-CPR) on Tuesday, April 20.

SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) -The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office held their 9-1-1 telecommunications awards banquet tonight to celebrate the people on the other line during calls for emergencies.

BUCKHANNON — On March 25, 2020, Governor Jim Justice approved House Bill 4123 that was passed by the West Virginia Legislature, clarifying that 911 telecommunication workers are included in the definition of those individuals who perform “emergency services” during a disaster. Weatherford Police Department Telecommunications Officer Dylan Swackhammer was selected as a 911 Professional of the Year for the North Central Texas area.

Swackhammer was one of nine to receive the honor from the North Central Texas Emergency Communications District in 2020.

“To give you an idea of how momentous that is, the district serves over 1.7 million residents at 43 public safety answering points in 13 counties in over 10,800 square miles,” Weatherford Police Chief Lance Arnold said at Tuesday night’s city council meeting…
