ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The City of Albuquerque has deployed a real-time crime center (RTCC) in partnership with Verizon Frontline, a cloud-based Real-Time Response System (RTRS), Verizon announced in a press release Wednesday. The RTCC aims to help public safety officials detect and respond to violent crimes more efficiently.

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KFVS) – A Kentucky State Police telecommunicator was recognized, along with other first responders, for their work during the Mayfield tornado.
They were recognized by the Kentucky Emergency Management Association on March 9.
According to a news release from KSP, Public Safety Telecommunication Supervisor Brandon Crews was on duty when the tornado moved through the area on December 10.

It’s the beginning of a tour of duty for an officer in a typical police department.
The officer leaves the roll call briefing and checks out her equipment for the day—a radio, body-worn camera, taser, and smartphone. She proceeds to her vehicle and conducts a quick safety inspection of the exterior. As she sits down, the dispatcher announces that there are several assignments demanding immediate attention on her beat.
Unfortunately, she cannot begin her tour yet. She still has to sign on to several mobile applications on her smartphone and in-car computer before she can hit the street.

LINCOLNVILLE – At 10:07 a.m., January 16, 2022, Knox Regional Communications Center Dispatcher Tracie Webster received a call for a woman in active labor. She initiated emergency protocols and toned North East Mobile Health Services, the ambulance company that covers Lincolnville. Robyn Jones was is the process of giving birth, and her husband, Ralph, was asking for assistance.
Earlier in the morning, Robyn and Ralph were gearing up for the birth of their baby. They live in Lincolnville Center, and the hospital is 20 minutes away.
