LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — During
emergencies, we call 911. But imagine doing that and the phone just
keeps ringing. That’s what a Little Rock man claims happened when he
called about a car crash.
A couple of weeks ago, Charlie Hart’s
neighbor crashed her SUV into his front yard after reportedly becoming
faint and disoriented.
When Hart called 911 for help, he says the phone kept ringing.

other end of the line when calling 911. The growth of Southern Colorado
has impacted dispatchers already, but with a population boom on the
horizon, the way the El Paso County Dispatch Center operates may have to
be changed.

After losing one of their own, Macomb County police needed a little puppy pick-me-up.
The result: doggy dispatchers for a day.
Erika Ladas, a dispatcher with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, died Tuesday after a crash with a deer and another vehicle. The 28-year-old had been working with the department since January.
