Public safety briefs: 911 texting service coming to SC County (AZ)

Within two weeks, local residents will be able to text the county’s two 911 dispatch centers to report emergencies, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said.

The Text-to-911 service is set to go into effect on Monday, May 18, allowing residents and visitors to text communications officers at both the Sheriff’s Office and Nogales Police Department.

Tomball dispatcher, firefighters save man from burning home (TX)
