The Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch upgraded its Smart911 system earlier this week as part of a regular maintenance procedure.

A steady rumble filled a meeting room in the Frederick County Public Safety Training Facility as 911 call center employee Kim Woolcock tried out a new cleaning device delivered to the facility Tuesday morning.
