Responsibilities
- You will distribute and balance workload among employees in accordance with established workflow.
- You will receive emergency and non-emergency requests by telephone, mobile radio calls, mobile data computers or automatic alarms throughout the installation.
- You will determine the response agency and services to be rendered based on the nature of the emergency in accordance with established protocols.

Job Summary
The Police Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining effective and efficient communication between the university law enforcement headquarters, university police officers, other outside emergency, law enforcement agencies and the public.
The Police Dispatcher is responsible for establishing priorities for all calls for service, dispatching calls via radio, coordinating field personnel and radio traffic, maintaining status of all units, disposing of all incidents and handling requests for service from field units.
