Fairfield police chief wants to hire more dispatchers and add two officers (OH)

Fairfield – It would cost the city an estimated $155,292 to hire two additional officers and expand the staffing in the city’s dispatch center.

But to do that, the city will not replace its diversion counselor who has retired. That money would be put toward hiring additional dispatchers.

That was the message from Fairfield police Chief Stephen Maynard this week when he updated city council on his staffing needs…

Sumner County law enforcement to implement Crisis Intervention Team (TN)
