A Youngstown teen accused of placing phony emergency calls to draw out first responders in four states is expected to plead guilty in court Wednesday.

Miller County officials are now using the county’s new 911 emergency communications equipment at the Miller County Sheriff’s Office.
“We are excited to finally have it up and running,” Miller County Judge Cathy Hardin Harrison said Tuesday. “It was installed in December but we have had dispatchers training on it since then,” she said.

WASHINGTON TWP., MONTGOMERY COUNTY — A woman jailed on several charges of abusing 9-1-1 has called emergency dispatchers 79 times since early November, Montgomery County Sheriff Rob Streck said.
