KY Dispatch Center Unveils 9-1-1 System Upgrades (KY)

Owensboro-Daviess County 9-1-1 dispatch has gone online with a new computer dispatch function that is expected to reduce the time it takes to dispatch responders to fire and medical calls.

City-county 9-1-1 Director Paul Nave said the dispatch center tested the system last week and went online with it at 9 a.m. Monday.

LCECC, ESU Police and Safety sign communications agreement (KS)

Lyon County Commissioners approved a memorandum of understanding involving the Lyon County Emergency Communications Center and Emporia State University Police and Safety to allow for increased collaboration between the entities during a regularly-scheduled action session Thursday morning.
