GALVA, Ill. — Henry County Sheriff’s Office officials say that due to outages at Frontier Communications, many residents in the Galva area may not be able to reach 9-1-1 on their house lines.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office received notification today that the Public Safety Answering Point; 9-1-1 Center in Hardin County has once again achieved compliance with the State of Ohio 9-1-1- Program Office’s regulations for PSAPs.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A Punta Gorda man called 911 multiple times and asked deputies to deliver him ice cream and liquor, according to Charlotte County deputies.
