County approves new inmate contract, first reading of water service fee (KY)

McLean County approved a bid with Muhlenberg for a new inmate contract during the Nov. 12 McLean County Fiscal Court meeting. The court also held a first reading for the $5 water service fee to pay for 9-1-1 services.

Additionally, the county held its first reading for a $5 water service fee to be placed on all active water bills within the county.

Aberdeen Elementary Students Experience ‘First Responders Awareness Day’ (MS)

Ted Wheeler asks Portland police chief, 911 director for report on emergency call response times (OR)

Mayor Ted Wheeler, who serves as police commissioner, Monday said he’s asked the police chief and director of 911 emergency communications to provide him with data on police response times to emergency calls before the end of the year as he fields complaints from people about either slow or no responses by police.
