Several first responding agencies in Jefferson County will be receiving new laptop computers thanks to a donation by Jefferson County 9-1-1 Dispatch.
Jeffco 9-1-1 Dispatch Chief Travis Williams says 344 laptops, costing more than 850-thousand dollars was donated. 166 of those laptops were already purchased by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Chief Williams says they have since reimbursed the sheriff’s office for those laptops…

We deal with other people’s problems and emergencies day in and day out. What happens when you at work need 911 yourself?
Do you call 911 and get your co-worker who has the same number of clues as you? Do you yell for the supervisor? What if you are the supervisor? Um … who does the supervisor call?
