Ventura County Sheriff’s Technical Communications Specialist Sherri Castaneda has been selected as the 2021 Public Safety Dispatcher of the Year. This award is presented to the outstanding dispatcher for their exemplary work and contributions to public safety and the residents of Ventura County. Sherri has been a dispatcher with the Sheriff’s Office since August of 2018.
