City of Kilgore presented service awards to multiple first responders in Kilgore Police Department and Kilgore Fire Department at Tuesday’s council meeting.

In recognition of National Public Safety Telecommunicator’s Week, Support Operations Lt. Terry Linder congratulated all communications workers and dispatchers in Kilgore for their tireless efforts to help police and firefighters respond to local emergencies. NEW ULM — Brown County commissioners will consider an agreement between Allina Health Emergency Medical Service and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office for Telephonic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Program (T-CPR) on Tuesday, April 20.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed into law at requirement on May 30, 2019 for the establishment of a telephonic cardiopulmonary resuscitation program effective July 1, 2021, with available grants for reimbursement of public safety answering points for the cost of appropriate training…

Weatherford Police Department Telecommunications Officer Dylan Swackhammer was selected as a 911 Professional of the Year for the North Central Texas area.

Swackhammer was one of nine to receive the honor from the North Central Texas Emergency Communications District in 2020.

“To give you an idea of how momentous that is, the district serves over 1.7 million residents at 43 public safety answering points in 13 counties in over 10,800 square miles,” Weatherford Police Chief Lance Arnold said at Tuesday night’s city council meeting…

Hays police officers gave a standing ovation Thursday night for their emergency dispatchers following Mayor Sandy Jacobs’ proclamation celebrating National Public Safety Telecommunications Week in Hays. 

The Hays Police Department has overseen the communications department since it was transferred back to HPD control at the end of 2019. It continues to service law enforcement agencies in Ellis County along with fire departments and Ellis County EMS..
