Atlanta police officers walked off the job last night in protest of charges brought against two officers in the Rayshard Brooks case. Brooks was killed by police at an Atlanta-area Wendy’s while they were attempting to take him into custody for driving while impaired. Brooks wrestled the officers, manage to gain control of one of their ‘ taser-weapons and fired it at an officer while attempting to flee the scene.

The Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) awarded 24 grant projects totaling $2.1 million in federal funding to local public safety answering points (PSAPs) across Wisconsin.
