PAGE, AZ — Members of the Arizona Corporation Commission told CenturyLink the company has about a month to fix service issues in Page before they take the next step that could lead to legal action against the company.

Cayman’s 9-1-1 emergency call centre experienced a 200% increase in calls in the hour following last week’s 7.7 magnitude earthquake, according to officials.

LISBON — After a recent problem with an AT&T maintenance outage made it impossible for the dispatchers at the county’s 911 answering centers as well as other dispatcher to communicate with each other, the county 911 Emergency Service Committee on Thursday approved a possible solution.
When the system went down, all of the 911 calls still went to the county sheriff’s office, which is hooked up to an additional line that brings the calls on a line from Columbus in an emergency…

Arapahoe County’s emergency dispatchers will receive more money and better benefits after they were designated Wednesday as first-responders just like sheriff’s deputies, firefighters and paramedics.
