A Hopkinsville woman is among 25 people awarded a scholarship from the Gerald F. Healy Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation Scholarship endowment. A 911 dispatcher is being credited for helping save the life of a suicidal man.
Last month, the caller said he was determined to die while driving around the Twin Cities.
Minnesota State Patrol dispatcher Marty O’Hehir spoke to the caller for twenty-two minutes and was able to bring everything to a peaceful end.
