911 Board schedules special meeting for Wednesday morning (MI)

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County 911 Communications Board has scheduled a special meeting for Wednesday morning to discuss staffing and wages for 911 employees.

Branch County 911 has had continuing problems over the last couple of years trying to maintain proper staffing levels.

Iowa lawmakers approve classifying dispatchers as first responders (IA)

(Des Moines) — Lawmakers in the Iowa House and Senate have both passed legislation that would classify dispatchers as first responders.

South Boston officer teaches children about dialing 911, after a strange request (VA)
