Rock County 911 Center produces another music video (WI)

The Rock County Communications Center has produced a fun new public safety music video using the music group Surfaces’ song, “Sheesh” as the theme. The video is one of several produced by the Communications Center in an effort to humanize public safety and engage with our Rock County community. The center’s first video of this type, “Uptown Funk”, was a viral hit and has received nearly 10 million YouTube views to date.
The new video was filmed recently at the Harry Moore Pavilion in Beloit by Drywater Productions of Janesville. A variety of Rock County Public Safety members and Communications Center personnel volunteered to assist in creating this lighthearted project.

Williamsport police body cameras: positive recommendation (PA)
Soon, the Bureau of Police could have officers affixed with recording video body cameras and in-car camera systems linked for better processing of crimes, getting video evidence and increasing public safety for citizens and police.
That’s because on Tuesday, Williamsport City Council’s public safety committee gave a positive recommendation to the Bureau of Police for a $347,293 purchase for Watch Guard body work cameras and in-car video systems with related equipment from Motorola Solutions through Keystone Communications of Northumberland.
Police Chief Justin Snyder brought the resolution request before the committee authorizing purchase of 48 body cameras and 14 in-car video systems…
