911 dispatcher, co-workers, save mans life in Athens (NY)

ATHENS — An off-duty Columbia County 911 dispatcher and three employees at Peckham Industries in Athens are being credited with saving the life of a co-worker after the man experienced a medical emergency on the job.

The man was displaying symptoms of a heart-related emergency while unloading a tanker at Peckham’s PARCO terminal, Peckham officials said.

Lexington, SC 06/24/2022 – The Lexington County 911 Communications Center has been awarded Communications Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA®).

This is the fifth time that Lexington County 911 Communications has earned this achievement. This award remains in effect for four years and the agency retains all privileges associated with this status during that period.
