911 Scandal: Sexually explicit texts between married dispatcher and deputies (TX)

A scandal is unfolding at the Bexar County Sheriffs Office involving sexually explicit text messages which could involve as many as seven law enforcement officers and a married dispatcher. The dispatcher, a sergeant and one deputy are already facing proposed termination.

Governor Wants to Invest $96 Million in 9-1-1 Systems and Equipment (PA)

Governor Josh Shapiro wants to invest in Pennsylvania’s 9-1-1 emergency dispatch system, firefighters, and emergency medical services (EMS) providers. The Governor’s budget would invest over $50 million in county 9-1-1 systems and devote $36 million for equipment, training, and staffing needs for firefighters and EMS providers.
