OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Several counties in central Oklahoma have now rolled out a new 9-1-1 text service.
The Oklahoma City 911 dispatch center held a press conference Monday morning, explaining how this will work.
“Oklahoma City, 9-1-1 where is your emergency?” said dispatcher, Audra Siprich
Normally dispatchers are able to communicate to the person on the other end about their situation.
