Next week, at the 23rd annual 911 Oklahoma Public Safety Conference, two local residents are going to be recognized as heroes. Justin Beaver, communication systems manager for the City of Shawnee, is set to receive an award as 911 Technology Person of the Year and 13-year-old Braydon Self of Tecumseh has been designated Child Hero.
