PIO officer, Victoria Hill, says the 9-1-1 call center issue was resolved early this morning at around three in the morning and everything appears to be working smoothly.

The 9 -1-1 communications center serving Billings and Yellowstone County is experiencing a nationwide outage. The cause of this outage is unknown. The press release sent out by the city of Billings says the communications center is affecting landlines and cell phones differently.
