CINCINNATI (WXIX) – New data obtained by FOX19 NOW shows Cincinnati’s 911 call center has reduced protocol errors by more than half, dropping from 17% down to as low as 3% over three years.

When someone dials 911 in Cincinnati, the response follows a specific chain — from call answer to dispatch to arrival on scene. Call-takers at the Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center gather information and dispatch police, fire, or EMS before first responders head to the scene.
