CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — A Massachusetts man admitted to threatening to kill a 911 dispatcher in Calhoun County, according to authorities.

Jonathan Munafo called Calhoun County dispatch more than 140 times on Jan. 5, 2021, according to the United States Attorney’s Office Western District of Michigan. He pleaded guilty to communicating a threat in interstate commerce in federal court in Gand Rapids Wednesday.

Munafo was in North Carolina on his way to the Jan. 6 capitol riot when he made the calls, authorities said.
