The director of Macon County’s Enhanced 911, Michael Kindle, says that they are nearing completion of the Second Phase of major upgrades to their system’s equipment.
Upgrades in the First Phase last summer included the installation of a new Next Generation 911 telephone system. That replaced a system that was over 10 years old.
