HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – There is a push to create a statewide 911 connected system in Ohio. It’s part of House Bill 445.

Andrew Knapp, the communications director for the Hamilton County Communications Center says the current 911 system was developed for landlines decades ago.

He says in many places outside large urban areas like Hamilton County, you’re only able to call for help.
