In efforts to advance how they respond to emergencies on island, the E-911 Center is undergoing some changes. The E-911 Center is anticipating to move from its secure location at Civil Defense by the end of 2022 to a more public location. We were asked not to disclose the whereabouts at this time however, public information officer for the Guam Fire Department, Kevin Reilly, believes the move is for good reason.
“There are several issues that we had, the biggest one being space. As we continue to grow, as the fire department continues to grow we’re having a lot more calls then we were before. Therefore we bumped up our system from 8 consoles to 10,” he explained… READ MORE
