You could say that local 911 dispatcher Jamal Licorish is a “stork.”
At least he acted in lieu of the popular bird last year when he helped bring a new Franklin County resident into the world.
This week he won a “stork” award for his role in the birth of that baby boy last fall. Licorish is a shift supervisor at the Franklin County Emergency Services call center.
