Crawford County has abandoned its effort to contract with Roscommon County for emergency dispatch service, Sheriff Shawn M. Kraycs reported during Thursday’s online Crawford County Board of Commissioners meeting.
“We’ve discontinued our effort to consolidate,” Sheriff Kraycs said during a budget presentation at the July 6 regular county board meeting. “We’ve shut that door for now.”
