Isabella County residents who wish to provide more detailed information to First Responders during an emergency can now do that.
Smart 911, which is accessible as either a website or a phone app, allows people who sign up for it to provide more detailed information about their homes, their own medical histories and even their pets through accounts they set up.
“Smart911 saves critical time in an emergency when seconds count,” said McCarther Griffis, Isabella County’s director of emergency management and Central Dispatch, in a press release.
