Westerville’s Communications staff brings many years of emergency, police, fire and medical service dispatching experience to Westerville residents and visitors. The need for the very best emergency dispatching service is not lost on anyone who has ever had to dial 9-1-1. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, the Communications Section is ready to assist in city emergencies. This staff responds to more than 70,000 calls for emergency service annually.
The primary purpose of the Communications Section is to provide professional and responsive dispatch communications services to all City Public Safety forces and all other City departments during non-business hours.
