Chautauqua County has been awarded $165,857 from New York State to make improvements to its 911 response and emergency dispatch operations. The funding, administered by the State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, is part of a $10 million grant announced by Governor Andrew Cuomo on Friday.
