Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience functioning as an EMD-I.
  • Required Education: High school or equivalency.
  • Certifications: Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certified by NAED within 90 days of date of hire, Emergency Telecommunicator Course (ETC) or successful completion during initial orientation.
  • Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Working knowledge of all communication center policies and procedures. Ability to function as a team member within the department. Proficiency with call-creation of emergency and non-emergency incidents to include the following:
