ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Performs dispatch duties for the Franklin County Consolidated Communications Department – receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services (EMS), rescue and Haz-Mat response; receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for various government agencies, utility companies, and other service agencies; monitoring radio communications; providing directions and other information to officers in the field; and calling wrecker companies, etc.
· Enters information into the system regarding wanted or missing persons as well as enter stolen items
