Last week the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office recognized dispatching personnel from VPSO and the Vernon E-911 Communications Office.
VPSO provided lunch to these dispatchers in observance of National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.
These individuals receive specialized training and have an extremely difficult job. More often than not they deal with life threatening emergency situations.
