NORTH PROVIDENCE – Thanks to the Federal Assistance to Firefighters Grant, Fire Chief Silva and Director of Communications Ralph Nahigian were able to secure a $393,000 grant to upgrade the Fire Department’s portable and mobile two-way radio equipment for town firefighters.
