The City of Madison is seeking a full time public safety telecommunicator. The position is responsible for handling 9-1-1 emergency calls, dispatching of police and fire services, monitoring of alarms and video cameras, and monitoring of detainees in jail cells at the facility. This is a 24/7/365 position, so the selected candidate must be able to work midnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
