FLEMINGTON, NJ – At the Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners’ meeting Tuesday, with snowfall continuing for a third consecutive evening, updates on the county’s operations and preparedness throughout the weather situation were delivered by two county elected officials.

 “The Communications Center was operating throughout the storm and so were the county’s rescue squads, law enforcement officers and other first responders. The 911 Center handled nearly 1,000 calls during the period of the storm since Sunday afternoon and 11 of Hunterdon County’s 13 rescue squads were called upon to overcome the weather and respond to emergency calls around the county in the last 72 hours…
