The Emergency Communications Department (ECD), under the direction of Director Michael J. Cerretto, is an accredited agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The ECD is scheduled for a virtual site-based assessment as part of a program to achieve national accreditation by verifying that it meets professional standards.
