A well known Edmonton LGBTQ advocate has filed a human rights complaint against the Edmonton Police Service ( EPS), saying an employee who took her 911 call last year repeatedly misgendered her and assumed her friend, who is also a trans woman, was a sex worker.
Marni Panas filed a complaint with the Alberta Human Rights Commission Tuesday.
