A local lawmaker is holding a contest to recognize public safety officers for their service to the community.
State Senator Lana Theis on Monday announced a contest to recognize the service of the 22nd Senate District’s public safety officers. The 22nd Senate District includes all of Livingston County and western Washtenaw County.
The contest will recognize one police officer or deputy, jail deputy or corrections officer, firefighter, dispatcher, and emergency medical technician who either works or lives in the district. Nominations are open…
