The Kansas 911 Coordinating Council announced on Friday that Butler County Emergency Communications has been awarded a grant to upgrade recording equipment used in the 9-1-1 center.
“We were planning and budgeting to begin recording more than just audio and capturing things like dispatcher computer screens. This grant puts those plans years ahead of schedule,” said Chris Davis, Director at Butler County Emergency Communications.
