ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) – Albany Police Officers Union President Greg McGee says Albany dispatchers are still being overworked, because they’re still understaffed.
“One of the dispatchers just updated me, and he’s had 47 mandatories as of yesterday. He’s done 48 hours of work in the last three days,” McGee said.
It’s now been 5 weeks since he sent a letter to Mayor Kathy Sheehan alerting her to their desperate situation.
