BOUNTIFUL, Utah (KUTV) — When Bountiful dispatch supervisor Brenna Dearden looked out her window on the night of August 29, she could see the flames on the mountain east of the city. KUTV
Hundreds of 911 callers were reporting the fire racing toward homes.
“The scene was spreading before our eyes, so send everybody,” Dearden said. “We were in for a big, bad, long night.”
It was a long night and long few days for dispatchers and other first responders in Davis County as they extinguished the fire and helped three families cope with the complete loss of their homes to the Gun Range Fire.
