RHINELANDER (WAOW)–The Rhinelander City Council approved a resolution on Monday that would give Oneida County $16,500 for improvements at the county dispatch center.
That money will go towards a station where a dispatcher works answering 911 calls.
Officials say the money helps the sheriff’s office better serve the people in the county.
“It’s good to work with the city and the county and come up with ideas for public safety that work for the best interest of the people that we serve,” said chief deputy Daniel Hess with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
