BAD AXE – The Huron County Board of Commissioners moved to deny a grievance filled by the county’s 911 dispatchers at this week’s meeting.

The grievance against Huron County alleges the county did not administer job analysis questionnaires (JAQ’s), a tool used to evaluate job classifications, which could affect potential wage increases.

Dispatchers Ward Carter and Kendra Berg brought the grievance before the board of commissioners in August with Wanye Beerbower of the Police Officers Association of Michigan speaking on their behalf.
